Alžběta Tichá – Stav

Work in progress aerials, experiment, flow arts, indoor, outdoor, site specific

Alžběta Tichá – Stav

We are all constantly changing…
The STAV solo performance is a metaphor of a woman’s life path. Time is running and she is changing at every moment. Who was she in the beginning and who is she now? What comes next?
The constant yet unconscious metamorphosis of the physical and mental state is visualized and communicated through the movement of the acrobat.
The story serves as an inspiration to gain awareness of the transformations we undergo in life.

Balancealots – Link the Click

In an urge to connect with the environment, the two quirky & colorful individuals show the difficulty of learning to work together by trying to find the balance between the two extremes of social connection: the online and the offline presence.
They drag their wonky kart everywhere they go, bringing life to any street corner, through a complex mashup of skills and live beats to generate positive energy.
The show includes partner acrobatics, live music & comedy to create a spectacle that makes weirdness oddly normal.

Cirkus TeTy – Peeping Janes

Work in progress aerials, experiment, indoor, physical theatre

Cirkus TeTy – Peeping Janes

Peeping Janes is the second of three performances commemorating the 10th anniversary of Cirkus TeTy and takes up the theme of the contrast between idealized expectations and the reality. In our experimental approach to the subject of maternity, the stage is occupied by maternity’s most fundamental impulses: mothers, non-mothers and children. The show lives in the borderland of contemporary circus, dance, and physical theater, and features aerial acrobatics using a suspended rope tunnel.

Work in progress acrobatics, aerials, experiment, indoor, object manipulation, physical theatre, site specific

Eliška Brtnická – Fish Eye

I fall apart and reassemble, I keep changing form. I’m searching for what I am, what is shaping me and what keeps changing my structure. I float and sometimes, I get attached to glass.
Pressure turns into a wave, motion into images, impacts into sounds, water surface into flickering flashes.
A blend of dance, installation art, fashion and aerial acrobatics with a live accompaniment of ultrasound dolphin frequencies.

Losers Cirque Company – Audition

Work in progress acrobatics, aerials, hand2hand, indoor, juggling, outdoor

Losers Cirque Company – Audition

As over-the-top acrobatic show as a massaged CV. Losers Cirque Company are bringing the new show – The Competition – and only the audience decides the winner.

“We’ll call you back!” A sentence everyone has heard at least once. Today you’re going to hear it again. They will call you back indeed – if you become the chosen one of the applicants armed with fine-tuned CVs who are just getting ready to fight for… for what? Does it even matter? The winner-to-be now has to hide their true self, their principles, and their self-respect to prove they’re the very best. Or at least fake it until they make it and overcome the rest. Succeeding in the game with no clear rules is not going to be easy. Who is going to show the judges the most delightful cocktail of talent, pretence, and ambition?

MansterVille – Propane Punk Circus

Work in progress acrobatics, clowning, flow arts, juggling, outdoor, site specific, street arts

MansterVille – Propane Punk Circus

MansterVille is an interactive amusement park including a music stage and a multifunctional geodesic dome. Our work is site- and/or event-specific, so we work with artists of different skills. The planned project builds on the performance Ex Rotam, which features clown acts, live music, trapeze acrobatics and a final fire show with pyrotechnic effects.
The performance follows a simple story which unfolds around a gradually assembled giant MansterWheel. First, there is just one cage where an acrobat moves freely. The other cage is replaced by an acrobatic trapeze. Story segments alternate with acrobatic and fire-dance interludes accompanied by live music by a perfect line-up of drummers and Djs.
